When I pulled the card of the day, I was hoping for a card that was wonderful and inspiring but we do not always get what we want, we get what we need.
card 001

The three of swords can indicate heartbreak, loneliness and betrayal. Clearly this is a card from my past. It may be a card from you past. That lover that just took your heart and stomped on it, leaving you feeling lost and alone. Maybe it was a relative that betrayed your trust leaving you not sure if you would every quite look at the world the same way. A card that strips our innocence due to the overflowing pain that we feel from a particular situation, leaving us changed forever, sometimes bitter, unhappy and hopeless. Atlas, I have certainly been there.

The good news in all of this, is that you have the power to choose to stand up, wipe the dust off and go on. You can let this be a lesson learned and capture that energy and hold it to keep you down or look at it and let it go, move on and let this world give you the good things that you so deserve. Leave the past in the past, deal with it if you need to and move on.

If you need a little help to heal from the past, here are a couple of things to try:
Try burning Rosemary oil or incense to heal a broken heart
Lay flat on the floor or your bed and place an onyx pyramid on your body for 15 minutes to draw out negative emotions
Hang wind chimes outside your door to ward off negative spirits
